Goodbye USA, hello Nigeria!

As promised, a last entry from the USA.
First of all I'd like to thank all of you who have been praying for peace in Nigeria. Our prayers have really been answered! In fact, as I write to you- things haven't been more peaceful in some time.
This last week in Texas has been a bit trying, I must say. There's been lots to think about. When it comes right down to it though, it comes to faithfulness. This week God has been calling me to faithfulness to my family, to others I love, but first and foremost- to this Mission. God has also proved to me yet again that He is faithful to me too! Isn't it amazing that no matter what we deserve God wants to lavish good gifts upon us? I know that I don't deserve to be a part of this mission for a second... but God has asked me to take part anyway. He sees my every weakness, and I really believe that as I bring these to his feet He empowers me. But not me... Him within me! When I am nothing before the Lord I am everything that He wants me to be.
I don't mean to go on and on!
When I write to you next I'll be in Nigeria! Pictures will come ASAP. Peace be with all of you!

Angela,
I was filled with such peace when we left the airport. Maybe it was the three hunky guardian angels I visualized as your traveling companions?? :)
Caroline & Tommy send you lots of hugs. Me too!
